I wrote this Haiku all by myself, and I'm very proud of it ^_^ !

蜘の巣に
Under the spider web,
おどる枯れ葉
The dancing dead leaf,
ぶら下がる。
is suspended.

I love seing leaves dacing under webs as they were just ghosts, it's just like a magic sight ^_^ ! I took the photograph not far from my highschool.

Um, a Haiku consists of three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables.

Yours consists of three lines of 6, 5, and 4. -_-;;

If there are brownies not yet eaten,
...I'll be there a hell of a lot quicker!

No. Because sometimes kanji can be pronounced in 2 syllables or more.

so miine is :
kumo no su ni (5)
odoru kareha (6, you can cheat for the second verse)
burasagaru (5)

so of course it doesn't work in English, but in Japanese it does.
